"THE TRUTH IS..."

Voices In The Christian Wilderness

They will tell you with all sincerity that politics and religion do not mix. They will tell you with all sincerity that separation of Church and State exists. They will tell you with all sincerity that politics should never enter the pulpit and that God is not the ultimate authority in choosing heads of state. They will even tell you that Christians are called to be "peacemakers" in the world when in truth, they are called to follow Christ who said in Matthew 10:34-41:

"Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to bring peace, but a sword. For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law. And a man's foes shall be they of his own household. (See Micah 7:6). He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me. He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.

"He that receiveth you receiveth me, and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me. He that receiveth a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet's reward; and he that receiveth a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man's reward."

In these few scriptures Jesus says several things: He did not come to bring peace to the earth, He came to bring a sword that divides the true believer from his enemies. This is not limited to the individual household as history proves, but incorporates local and national governments the world over. In the same text He admonishes us that if we love others more than we love Him we are not worthy of Him. He that finds (protects) his life - through denial of Christ when the chips are down, or eases his burden and public standing by appeasing or accepting watered-down and lukewarm views - will indeed be denying the integrity of Christ and will jeopardize his eternal salvation. In fact, Jesus is saying here that he will "lose" his life. Remember, these are not my words, these are the words of the Savior.

Whereas he that loses his life - whether through martyrdom or public ridicule and mocking of his cemented faith in Christ - he shall suffer his own cross with Christ but he will find life everlasting.

In the same text Jesus endorses the authority of the prophet and the righteous man. These are men that do not seek to please other men, but seek to please God. These words will not hold water with many who claim that there is no place in today's church for prophets or apostles. Yet in 1st Corinthians 12:28, we read:

"And GOD has set some in the Church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healing, helps, governments, diversity of tongues."

God, who created all things from nothing, and does not change or alter His own Word, HAS SET these authorities within the Church for the edification and teaching of the saints. Unfortunately, Church fathers and doctrines of men have renounced them. Such arrogance and rejection of God's Holy Word renders God a liar, a meddler, and a flip-flopper who changes his mind to suit the affairs of men. These leaders have dictated to God what they will and will not accept from Him, and since the fourth century have persuaded their flocks that they themselves "speak for God" in their instruction to the Church. I shudder at such arrogance and I shudder even more at the en masse acceptance of such arrogance.

Today, more than 40,000 Christians and renowned Christian leaders have signed a petition opposing the words of Jerry Falwell and Pat Robertson in a full page ad in Monday's New York Times and are seeking to place the same ad in papers across the country. They are saying in essence that Jerry Falwell and Pat Robertson do not speak for them or for God. Well, these two men of God may not speak for them, but they do speak for God who, "...changes the times and the seasons: He removes kings, and sets up kings: He gives wisdom unto the wise and knowledge to them that know understanding: He reveals the deep and secret things: He knows what is in the darkness, and the light dwells with Him (Daniel 2:21-22)."

In Daniel 4:17 we read: "This matter is by the decree of the watchers, and the demand by the word of the holy ones: to the intent that the living may know that the Most High rules in the kingdom of men, and gives it to whomsoever He will, and set up over it the basest of men."

God has spoken! Enough said about the elections of kings and heads of state! God RULES IN THE KINGDOM OF MEN AND GIVES IT TO WHOMSOEVER HE WILL - even sets over it the basest of men when it suits His purpose to bring judgment or deliverance, and a call for the repentance of His people. God, who chose Israel, chooses His prophets also to speak to the people on His behalf. It is said that since the Bible has been published, and the Word of God is established in the earth, there is no need for prophets for there is no more to be said. But God rejects man's rejection of His Holy Word.

As long as there is an earth, and men upon it, God will rule in the affairs of men, and continue to speak through His prophets. One day, during the Great Tribulation, He will send two witnesses (prophets) to Jerusalem to prophesy for three and a half years. Do you think God would use the prophets in the old dispensation and the two witnesses in the last days, while neglecting the need for them in the Church Age in between? Of course not! God is not wishy-washy nor does He compromise His own Word. If He set apostles and prophets in the church - and we are still in the Church Age of the Book of Acts - then there will be apostles and prophets appointed by God until Jesus comes.

Jerry Falwell said, " It is the responsibility of every political conservative, every evangelical Christian, every pro-life Catholic, every traditional Jew, every Reagan Democrat, and every one in between, to get serious about re-electing President Bush." Rev. Falwell is not a prophet, but he has been shown the deep and secret things that are hidden from many others. His duty is to share these things whether they are received with gladness or rejected with disdain.

Pat Robertson said, " I think George Bush is going to win in a walk. I really believe I am hearing from the Lord it's going to be like a blow-out election in 2004. The Lord has just blessed him...it doesn't make any difference what he does, good or bad..." Pat Robertson is a prophet of the Lord and in all my years of following his ministry I have never heard him speak a word that did not come to pass. In this way we can know the true prophet.

While it is true that God is neither Democrat or Republican, Baptist or Pentecostal, Catholic or Presbyterian, or the author of any other denomination, He is the Judge of all men's hearts and the Commander-In-Chief in the affairs of men. While it is true that we have a free will, the earth is still the Lord's and the fullness thereof. His Word will go forth as written, the stage was prepared "in the beginning" and the Divinely elected players have filled their roles in every generation. Those with understanding knew in the year 2000 that George W. Bush was God's man of the hour and they chose to support him in agreement with that understanding. God always tells His prophets what He is about to do and the prophets do not analyze or examine God's Words of knowledge. They simply speak it forth as a settled issue.

Many have received the same Word from the Holy Spirit that Jerry Falwell and Pat Robertson received. We may stand alone in the world in our understanding, but we stand nonetheless because God has spoken. Some men may not like what God has spoken. However, God does not answer to men. Men answer to God...

As to looking at the political issues such as health care, environmental stewardship, unemployment, poverty and war, we need only to be reminded that none of these things will matter one iota when we stand before the Savior, or if we are attacked and devastated by our enemies. We will however be held accountable as to whether or not we have obeyed the command, "Touch not mine anointed and do my prophets no harm" (Psalm 105:15). To slander, criticize, belittle, and reject God's anointed is dangerous. Such voices comprise a Christian wilderness that sway the vulnerable and the weak to ignore - even reject - the authoratative Word of the Living God who has warned, "Judgment begins at the house of the Lord."

When the Holy Spirit told me before the 2000 election that George Bush was God's man of the hour, I accepted that without question and without reservation, and I will continue to support him until God tells me otherwise.

The war in Iraq is a religious issue, for this is a war waged by religious radicals against Christianity and Judaism. Our entire way of life, indeed, the freedoms we hold so dear, have been attacked and threatened with additional attacks. It is an attack against every man, woman and child in America regardless of their belief. It is a war bred by a hatred that we, as a Christian nation, cannot comprehend. It is so vile and violatile, and so deeply rooted that it consumes the terrorists and blinds him to reason. One cannot negotiate with a terrorist that is so intent on the slaughter of a people who is rich in the freedom of democracy and the freedom of personal faith.

Such hatred cannot be appeased or ignored. It has to be stopped. George W. Bush knew this. The terrorist training camps in Afghanistan and Iraq had to be destroyed, their rulers dismantled, and the threat they posed obliterated. September 11, 2001 was the new December 7, 1941 - a day that will live in infamy. We were attacked without provocation. It would have been foolish to have ignored it. It was either take the battle to their soil or fight it on ours.

Freedom is not free, nor is it cheap. Freedom comes to those who seek it, and always with a high price. It is not a gift - it must be sought, won and defended against all aggressors. As God sent the armies of Israel to do battle and overcome the wickedness of their enemies, so he continues to send the armies of the righteous to war against evil today. Yes, we had a choice, but the brave do not falter. We must be grateful for the sacrifices of our young men and women for these have not labored in vain. We can sit down this evening and enjoy a meal with our families and sleep with assurance we are safe because our enemies have been pushed back. As God sent Barak and Deborah to do battle with Sisera (Judges 4 and 5), so He has gone with our troops to do battle with ours.

To the dissenters I would say, go back to your Bible and get to know the Father and God of us all and use your energy against the enemy and not your fellow Americans. Closing your eyes to the truth and the times we live in will not make evil go away.

Following 9/11 President Bush, in his address to the nations of the world, said, "He that is not with us is for the terrorists." It is time to choose whom you will serve...

स्विने fLU

SWINE FLU PREVENTIONProtect yourselves & those you love.
Just another great reason to be in LHN.

Http://LHNInternational.com/minivanI will be addressing this issue in Nashville next weekend but in the meantime you may be getting various inquiries regarding Mexican Swine Fever Although obviously we have not tested this against Alligin or Alligel our Government and yours is saying already that antivirals Tamiflu and Relenza must be used. WE know that Alligin is as a good as these drugs and offers a safe natural preventative treatment! My quote is as follows: Although this is a new flu virus strain it appears to be related to a simple H1N1 virus line. Symptoms in patients infected in the USA and Europe appear to be relatively mild and include a sore throat, sneezing and coughing. Swine flu appears to be very easily spread by coughing sneezing or coming into close contact with someone who is already infected. Stabilised allicin as found in Alligin™ is an excellent natural antiviral agent that has been proven in double blind placebo controlled studies to both PREVENT the onset of viral disease and to remove symptoms in patients already infected. I would ask patients to supplement with 4-6 Alligin capsules daily to act as a preventative. Try to avoid contact with people who are showing active infection and wash your hands thoroughly with soap and then apply a protective layer of Alligel every day. This has been proven to prevent infectious organisms from populating the hands and face. Taking these simple and cost effective actions each day should prevent the onset of infection and keep your immune system boosted whilst this pernicious virus is trying to infect us all. This protocol should be adopted immediately and you may apply Alligel as often as required to help prevent infection passing onto your body. Peter Josling Director
